Artist & Founder
Jorge Maestro is an Spanish architect, founder of Vittoria Chess, a project where chess becomes a work of art. Born into a family of artists, his fascination with the game began at the age of five.
Guided by his travels around the world, his vision merges reason and creativity, geometry and imagination. His architectural background has given him a profound understanding of materials, which he translates into every creation with precision and emotion.
For Jorge Maestro, chess pieces are more than objects: they hold a hidden soul. His work seeks to reveal that essence through pure geometric forms, harmony, and balance.
